Fr.
Michael Sparough, SJ invites you to come to a special pilgrimage January 12-20, 2008 that he will be leading with his good friend Fr.
John Ferone, SJ. We will be traveling to Rome, Assisi and
Florence.
In
Rome, we will visit the home of the Holy Father, and the place where
St. Ignatius Loyola spent the latter years of his life in administering
the Society of Jesus. We hope to have a Papal Audience, to visit
the rooms where St. Ignatius lived and worked, and to visit many of the
famous religious and cultural sites in the city.
In
Assisi, we’ll have time to have a mini-retreat, along with visiting San
Damiano Church, where St. Francis began his ministry, and pray at the
Basillica that contains his earthly remains. In Florence, we will
visit many of the religious, artistic and cultural wonders of the
Renaissance.
